What about that baby that was kidnapped from its bedroom basinet? Someone used a latter, climbed into the baby's bedroom and took him. Up in the curtain of the bedroom, they found the ransom letter. It said not to contact authorities but we have your baby and to pay $50,000 and when they contacted Authorities, the kidnappers increased the ransom amount to $75,000. I think they were paid but they found the child, with its skull crushed in, buried in a shallow grave. They found a piece of the latter in a guy's home and I don't remember if he was convicted and hanged but there was a guy that offered money in return on the child and his name was John and the ransom name was John too. No one knows who kidnapped and murdered the baby. Some believe it was a inside job and the family had connections to it. But, the case was closed after the guy was executed.
